Basketball

The Pre-Kindergarten basketball program for 4 and 5 year olds. This program is an introduction to basketball skills and drills. 
It is a fun program meant, to inspire a love of the game.   

Saturday Mornings: 8:00 am
Program Dates: Begins in December. Schedule coming soon.

Our goal is to instill a love of basketball and to provide a solid understanding of the fundamental skills associated with the game at an age-appropriate level.
We encourage participation for players of all levels. 
The Kindergarten through Grade 3 Co-ed Basketball program meets and play games on Saturday mornings at the Craig and Dolly Foster Gym at the Father Hayes Center, or Holy Cross Gym in South Portland.

St. Brigid School girls and boys in Grades 1 through 4 are encouraged to register for the Gallagher Basketball League through the Portland Recreation Department. The Gallagher League is run by the Portland Recreation Department, not St.  Brigid School.

It features school-based teams for players of all abilities. The league focuses on developing fundamental skills in a fun environment. Practice during the week is at East End School, Gerald E. Talbot Community School, or Amanda C. Rowe School.
